ContactAfter raising her own children, Alice went back to college and eventually graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She has now been working in Head Start programs for 12 years, first with four year olds and now with the younger ones in Early Head Start. She often leaves work and goes to play with her seven grandchildren (plus 3 more on the way), not all at the same time! She loves kids!

ContactAmy has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from California State University, Long Beach. She grew up in Orange County, California and moved to Utah in January of 2010. She has worked as a Family Educator for EHS at Kids on the Move since June of 2010.

ContactAmy has a BS in Education from Idaho State University, and a minor in Early Childhood Education from Red Rocks Community College, in Denver. She have worked for 20 years in Child Care, and another 18 years in Head Start/EHS. Being a Family Educator is by far the best job she has ever had.

ContactAnne has a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University, but her first love is community education. She loves to teach and has taught classes on many topics including parenting, communication, marriage enhancement, overcoming addiction, and dealing with depression.

ContactBarbara has a Law Degree from La Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico and an Associates’ Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. She has been working for seven years in Early Childhood Education. Barbara became a Family Educator at Kids on the Move in December of 2009. She considers it to be the best job she’s ever had, because it allows her to help children and parents to be great for each other.

ContactEmily has a Bachelor of Science in Marriage, Family and Human Development from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Art in Spanish from Utah Valley University.
Emily joined Kids on the Move in June 2011 and is thrilled to currently work as a Family Educator in the Early Head Start Department. Not only does she enjoy serving our Hispanic clientele, but she is currently improving her ASL skills in order to serve and advocate for deaf parents seeking Early Head Start services.

ContactIris has a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in the field for over twenty years both in Head Start and Early Head Start. She was the former Early Education Center coordinator and led the program through the NAEYC national accreditation.

ContactKathy Leedom has worked for Kids On The Move for 8 years. Kathy graduated from El Camino College and enjoys her new position as a Family Educator with Kids On The Move. She was born and lived in California for 20 years. She is married and has 5 daughters, one son and 14 grandchildren. Her children are all married and very successful which makes her extremely proud.

ContactLaura South has a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders From Utah State University. She was a State Licensed Child Care provider from her home before joining Kids on the Move. She loves helping children and families succeed.

ContactLinda has a bachelor's degree in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Utah and a Master of Science from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. Linda currently works as an Infant & Toddler Specialist in the southern area of the state helping Childcare programs improve the quality of care they provide through infant care grants from the Office of Childcare Work & Family Life programs. Linda has experience as a Director in several Community Child Care Programs as well as teaching experience with Head Start; The Children’s Center, and the Sharing Place Grief Support Programs. Linda has served as a board member on UAIMH and UAEYC and teaches yearly classes at the Early Childhood Conferences State wide. Linda is thrilled to be working with the talented people at KOTM and looks forward to many years with the company.

ContactLyndsee has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah. She is a certified EMT from the state of Utah.
Lyndsee has a great deal of experience working with children ranging from Nanny, Daycare Teacher, Pre-school Teacher etc. She also specialized in helping children recover from domestic abuse at the YWCA of Salt Lake City.

ContactTom graduated from BYU in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Social Work. He retired from DCFS after 29 years of service. He has been a family educator at KOTM since December of 2009.

ContactTiffany has a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development from Southern Utah University.
Tiffany has had many opportunities and experiences working with children of all ages, although her passion is working with young children. She has taught preschool and worked in child care centers, as well as being a direct care provider, advocate, and case manager for children with disabilities in a care center.
Tiffany enjoys her role in Early Head Start, developing relationships with individual parents to provide training about child development and to help them find the supports and resources needed.

ContactHeather has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and Social Science from Westminster College. She is a licensed Social Service Worker and credentialed in Early Intervention with the state of Utah.
Heather has been employed with Kids on the Move for over six years. Heather serves as the Disabilities Coordinator and Quality Assurance Manger for Early Head Start. She monitors services for co-served children in both Early Head Start and early intervention agencies in Utah County. Heather’s extensive background in business management lends credibility to her responsibility of providing oversight to compliance issues pertaining to Federal regulations that govern the Early Head Start program.
For five years, Heather has been serving as an adult facilitator of the Smart Steps step parenting curriculum with Utah State University. She provides continuing education regarding financial, legal, parenting, stress management, and marriage relations to those experiencing divorce and stepfamily formation in our community.

ContactKatie has a Master of science from the Erikson Institute in Chicago, IL, with an emphasis in Child Development. She worked as an Infant & Toddler Specialist from 2006-2008 where she helped initiate Utah’s Infant/Toddler Network and quality grants for infant care. Katie has teaching experience with Head Start, and has served on several committees for early childhood conferences and State early childhood associations, including UHSA and UAEYC. She’s been directing the Early Head Start Program at Kids on the Move since 2008.

ContactMatt has a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. He has worked with children of every age from 0-18 through the school system, summer camps, residential treatment, and now Early Head Start.
Matt has been at Kids on the Move since June of 2011, and loves the opportunity to change lives by educating parents.

ContactNicole received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Brigham Young University. Her love of working in early childhood education began when she opened her own center 13 years ago. Since then she has taught Spanish, Spanish for Heritage Learners, and ESL K-12 in the public schools with a concentration on immigrant families. Before coming to Kids on the Move as the Early Head Start Center Based Services Manager, she was the Bilingual Specialist at Child Care Resource and Referral where she is still a training instructor. As the mother of a child on the Autism spectrum, Nicole is also very passionate about the other great programs that Kids on the Move provides.
