As a nonprofit organization, Kids On The Move needs private donations from individuals and businesses like you who are interested in helping us achieve our goal of “empowering families, one kid at a time.”

Without the support of our friends and donors, we could not help 2000 children and their families every year. The support, therapy, education and other services we provide to families of children with special needs is critical to give these kids a boost and healthy start in life. Please help us help them by making a donation today.

Because of our 25th Anniversary, we hope to reach 1,000 donors giving $25 or more. When you donate, let us know if you’d like us to use your donation 1)Where it is needed the most or 2)in the new Bridges Scholarship Fund to help children living with Autism specifically.

Thanks for all your support!

Kids on the Move Early and author Danyelle Ferguson have partnered to help parents and church leaders include people with cognitive disabilities at church. With the steady rise of autism, ADD/ADHD, and other disabilities, teachers at church struggle to know how to meet their class’s needs. On Tuesday, August 2nd, Danyelle Ferguson will share techniques and strategies to develop communication, establish routines, and help with transitions. The presentation begins at 7 pm. Parents, church leaders, and any community members interested in helping children, youth, and adults with special needs at church are welcome to attend.

Kids on the Move Early Intervention Center’s mission is to support the development of young children and families. They are located at 475 West 260 North, Orem, UT next to Orem Community Hospital.

Danyelle Ferguson is the mother of a son with autism. She co-founded a non-profit organization, Friends of GIANT Steps, which helps support the GIANT Steps Autism preschool in Orem, UT. She has been a speaker and advocate in the disability community for over eight years, during which time she learned that prayer and a sense of humor are the keys to not only enduring but enjoying the special needs journey. Her book, (dis)Abilities and the Gospel, was released in May 2011 through Cedar Fort Publishing. More information about the book and author can be found at DanyelleFerguson.com.
